ANNOUNCEMENT
AnCAD Incorporated is pleased to announce the release of MATFOR 3.2, a key upgrade release in the final steps toward version 4.0.

This release concentrates on the introduction of mfPlayer, which is one exclusive visual tool to record and present data simulations.  It also offers the compelling feature of localization to provide multi-language support.  Meanwhile, bugs fixes and customer change request such as the full-screen option are all included to consolidate the code base and to enhance the usability.

Thanks to all MATFOR users for showing support with valuable feedback and bug reporting. We call on you all to continue the bug hunting and provision of feedback as we move to version 4.0. It is with your efforts that AnCAD may ensure MATFOR maintains its performance in scientific-computing development.

A detailed list of significant features in this release follows.

FIRST LOOK
mfPlayer
mfPlayer is an exclusive visual tool with which MATFOR saves the generated data into a MATFOR-defined MFA file for users to present it as a recorded animation.  Outstanding from other media players, mfPlayer allows users, during data presentations, to perform manipulations such as resizing, rotating, zooming and changing the colormap of the simulated data.  Through these functions, data presentation is completed with enhanced readability and comprehensiveness.

Multi-language Support
Noting the increasing demand to present data in different languages, MATFOR 3.2 is furnished with multi-language support.  This utility allows users to input, modify and display foreign character sets.  In addition, various symbols such as the Greek letters and the most frequently used mathematical signs are all enabled through this support.

Full-screen Function
With the full-screen function, users are allowed to view data and/or present at full screen.  This function also serves to eliminate the context for on-screen data capturing and printing.

To switch to the full-screen mode, simply press the "Full Screen" button located in the menu bar or call the function mfFullScreen("on") within the program.  To exit full screen, press the ESC button.
