此次研討會目的在倡導迴轉機械產業要有檢測方法，尤其是針對工具機之零組件，例如主軸、齒輪箱、馬達等。經過品質檢測流程之後，提出一份檢驗品管報告。。邀請學界與業界的專業人才一起共襄盛舉，共同探討檢測方式與品質檢測的重要性。
並且提出時頻分析技術 (Visual Signal) 並且透過噪音與振動之訊號分析 (Sound and Vibration Module)，可以便捷的擷取振動、噪音、溫度與轉速計等訊號，協助研發人員所需的分析方法，提供排除問題的分析圖表並且提升生產製造技術，更可以加強整體人員素質能力
案例分享
有別於現今工具機主軸檢測只單一轉速的 RMS (G值)，如下圖，從 SVM 分析中可以清楚看見主軸加速過程中 RMS 隨著轉速變化情形，更可以配合時頻圖了解主要振動的頻率變化，並找出相關原因，減低振動，利用圖形表示更能完全掌握主軸全工作範圍內振動特性。
利用 SVM 中的 Crest Factor 得到軸承撞擊振幅與 RMS 比值，利用 Crest Factor 更能彌補 RMS 產生的盲點，找出撞擊訊號，判斷軸承品質，最後可以利用 ICA 配合 Bearing Defect 判斷主軸前後軸承的內外環、滾珠或保持器損壞。
