WHAT'S NEW in MATFOR 4.1
After the release of MATFOR 4.0, AnCAD development team continues to add new functions and improve the performance of the existing libraries, making the latest MATFOR more powerful and robust. In version 4.1, the graphical features were extended to support a greater range of data types, and the numerical procedures were enhanced to reduce stack overflow. Furthermore, to increase flexibility, a new extension was created for MATFOR users to use external functions. While simplicity and performance still remain the main focus, the release of MATFOR 4.1 aims to be effortless and more diverse.
The new version of MATFOR features include the following innovative aspects:

MATLAB Interface Support

MATLAB Interface is a new extension of MATFOR that allows programmers to use MATLAB functions from MATFOR programs. It is especially useful for those who create prototypes using MATLAB, then do implementation in C++ or other languages. Learn more¡K

Streamline Series Expansion

The streamline series now includes stream arrows that can be used to indicate the direction of flow precisely. Furthermore, all streamline functions now support 2-D and 3-D unstructured mesh data. Users may pick the most appropriate methods to present their data. Learn more¡K

Editor Series Enhancement

In version 4.1, MATFOR Editor Series becomes more powerful, it possesses more manipulation features and a friendlier user interface. Besides, all built-in editors are now available for programs through one function call. This new feature makes application building easier and more efficient. Learn more¡K

Print Preview Support

The print function has been extended to comprise Print Preview and Print Setup. The Print Preview function shows current figure as it will be printed and the Print Setup function facilitates printing configuration. Learn more¡K

Axis Settings Adjustment
In version 4.1, users are allowed to cutomize their own axis tick labels and locations. Additionally, geoid labels are available for creating maps. Please refer to mfAxis function description in MATFOR Reference Guide.
